LaunchIT provides public research previews, a contact path and, when activated, account-based research services. This notice describes the data used by this application.
Public previews
You do not need an account to explore the public research. Preview filters are processed in your browser. Our hosting providers may retain access and security logs. We do not embed advertising trackers or third-party tracking pixels.
Browser-saved research
If you choose Save in the launcher or company directory, that list is stored locally in this browser. It is not an account watchlist, does not send email, and is not uploaded to the research service. Remove individual saved entries or clear this site’s browser storage to remove it.
Contact inquiries
The contact page prepares an inquiry in your browser. LaunchIT does not save or submit that draft to its server. Opening an email draft passes it to your chosen email application; you review and send it there. Copy inquiry writes it to your clipboard. The optional web contact form is on spacefuturesconsulting.com, where its hosting and form service process what you submit. We use received contact details and messages to answer and discuss your request. An inquiry does not create a marketing subscription. Do not include confidential or controlled technical information.
Accounts and purchases
When account access is activated, Amazon Cognito handles sign-in. Essential, HTTP-only cookies maintain the sign-in session. The research service stores your account identifier, verified email, orders, saved mission constraints and watchlist. Stripe handles payment details; LaunchIT does not receive your full card number.
Research and notifications
Public-source research focuses on organizations and projects. We do not offer personal contact lists. Monitoring emails are service updates for a purchased service and use our email delivery provider. We do not add you to a marketing list as part of checkout.
Retention and requests
Account research is retained while your account remains open. You may request access, correction or deletion. Transaction and security records may need to be retained for legal, tax, dispute or fraud-prevention purposes. Deletion requests include a review of those exceptions and backups; we do not promise immediate deletion of every record.
